A good, clean, friendly pub. ALWAYS super service. You can sit and drink quietly or if you want to have a chat. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Real log and coal fire burns on a cold day. Unpretentious and just what it should be. Roasts on a Sunday are a super treat, homely, fresh and well served.less

A tasty traditional Sunday roast dinner in warm & cosy surroundings. Couldn't ask for more on a blustery Sunday afternoon.less

My wife and I popped in to The Dinkum for a Ploughmans and a Lager. The Barman was probably the most miserable person I had ever seen and only spoke the minimal amount when absolutely necessary. We were served within 10 minuets and got cheddar cheese, ham, pickle a piece of stale bread that had 2 dots of what tasted like margarine on the bread. We ate the ham and cheese but left the bread that was horrible and made worse by the tiny amount of margarine on it. The lager incidental was supposed to be Fosters but tasted flat even though their were tiny bubbles floating to the surface. Also the chimney sweep was cleaning the chimey whilst we had lunch which seemed a rather unprofessional time to do it? Score 1/10 (The 1 was for the toilets that were old but clean).less
